Here is the granola recipe I've been making for breakfast. It's yummy. It originally called for raisins, but i prefer cranberries. :-) The message at the bottom is from the program I use for my recipes on my computer.
Great Granola
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup oil
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut, optional
- 2 tbsp wheat germ, optional
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 3/4 cup chopped, unsalted nuts (pecans, filberts, walnuts, or almonds)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350˚F
- Combine oil, honey, and maple syrup in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients, except cranberries, and mix well. Spread mixture on a large rimmed baking sheet. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, or until toasted, stirring occasionally.
- Sir in cranberries. Let cool, stirring with a fork occasionally to break up mixture. Store in airtight container in a cool, dry place.
