To my regular readers:
At work, we are doing a learning exercise to learn about different web 2.0 aspects. I am to blog 6 differnent experiences up to July. So, when you see "Week **..." in the subject it's a work exercise. :-)
To my work co-horts:
I don't know what my 2.0 expectations are. In reference into the blog exercise, I regularly blog, as you can see from my blog history. I do expect to learn about Zamzar and more about Good Reads. I've never even heard about Zamzar before. Twitter is not one I'm excited about. I have plenty of friends/family, including my husband, who tweet (see I even know the terminology), so it's not as though there's not much I expect to learn about that. Facebook is something I use regularly as well to keep up with my friends and family. We use it to post events for our church youth and young adults. I personally love it because I can see what my family, all of whom are halfway around the world, is up to. It can't be too hard to use, as my grandma uses it. (I love you Grandma and Grandpa!) I can't say as I have any fears either about web 2.0 technology. I'm not afaid of the technology as some people are.
A public library might use a blog to share about events/activities going on. You might also post pictures about past events or changes in library layout. Staff members could take turns posting about favorite books or featured new books if they don't have anything else in place for something like this. Customers could expect the things listed above as well as changes in hours for holidays.

New House
We've been approved for a new rental! We're pretty excited. I'll email out the address and phone number when all is finalized. Don't send Jeremy's birthday presents without emailing me. I have to give you a new address, whether is here at our friends house or our new house. We're staying with one of the leadership families at our church, Jeff and Robyn and 2 of their grown kids, Glenn and Matt. We're very blessed they've let us move in until we can move into our house in a couple of weeks. It's 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, so there's still plenty of room for you all to come visit! Here's the pics of it.

Time Change
Both times (US and NZ) have now changed for the seasons. So, we are once again further apart in time...it might technically be closer but whatever. Now when you want to know what time it is Subtract 7 hours and add a day.
The Kemps are offically out of the house today. So, we now have a really big house to ourselves for 2 1/2 more weeks. Jer said it's going to be strange to be home all the time by himself. I did it for years, so I know he can.
I got two options sent to me so far for new breakfasts. Mom sent a cottage cheese pancake and the Wylies suggested Keish. Any other ideas? I'll probably do the keish one soon. I've not decided about the pancake one yet. :-)

New Breakfast
So, I'm willing to give a surprise to anyone who can help me come up with a new breakfast. It needs to be high in protein and easy to make. It could be made the night before or several days in advance, just so long as it doesn't take much time in the morning. There are two meals I'm excluding b/c I'm doing them now and want something new: eggs and bacon; granola. It could be hot or cold...hot would be a bonus since winter is starting soon though. :-)

Busy Busy
So, I'm sitting here on my bed wondering what the heck I'm going to write about. It's been almost a month, but I don't feel too bad about this considering how long it's been since some other people have posted. hint hint!! Anyhow, we're in the throws of looking for a new place to live. The Kemps have already found a place and moving out Easter weekend. We've narrowed it down to what city we want to live in. That's good right? We're staying in this city, rather than move to the one I work in. Church and most of our friends are here, so we've decided to stay here. Plus, at some point we'd like my job to be here.
I've been getting close with one of girls at church. That's been interesting and fun. I think I've stretched more as a youth leader in the last month than I have in a year's time. I don't remember if I told y'all Jer's the youth guy now. If I didn't, you know now. He's been doing a lot of it anyhow, but now there's more. It keeps us busy, that's for sure! We went roller blading yesterday. I have muscles hurting that I forgot I had. I only fell once, thankfully. I have two huge bruises on my hip/bum area. I didn't know wood floors could hurt so bad!
As far as fun goes, we've been catching up on watching Bones. We really like it.

Legal Again
So, our work visas went through today! I get to continue working w/o pause. I had already figured out what I was going to do during that time, but it's better I get to keep working. I don't lose my vacation days this way.
